We are a 50 years old (but still very young in heart) couple from Germany. We fell in love when we were 16 and 17 years old and are now married since over 30 years. We started our world drifting when we were 18 years old with 4 weeks cruising via Interrail Ticket through Europe. Since then we have always enjoyed as much holidays as possible abroad. We have two grown-up boys with whom we still love to go on vacation.
End of 2018 we decided to change our life completely: we sold all our belongings, quit our jobs, bought 2 bagpacks and went on a ‚full-time‘ world drifting tour. We had no special destinations we wanted to visit, we were just open for what life would offer us, enjoying to meet nice people and cute animals from all over the world. What we have loved most was also being in nature and live a quite simple and relaxed life.
Andy has been a very busy project manager and director professional services for software companies for over 20 years, Faye has been a massage and relaxation therapist, who ran her own studio for over 14 years. She loves writing and is currently scripting her second book.
Since the beginning of July 2019 we combine our love for traveling, meeting new people and cute animals with being ‚house & pet sitters‘. Something we deeply enjoy!
Being world drifters means for us, letting life lead us to wherever it may be. And open-heartedly accepting the many new experiences that are offered to us every second. And we know: it’s always the best for us 😀

DumbleBee is not only a car, but also our little kind of home since June 2019.
We hope he has the magical abilities and kindness of Dumbledore and the transforming super powers of Bumblebee. For us he is already a beloved travel companion and we adopted him as part of our family right away 🙂
